Now I Die Of Hope
The seasons have changed one by one
In tandem with love, hearts they won
Not known, how many days have gone
And how much time ran with the sinking sun
Our love was like the spring season
So lush and vibrant when it began
With your arrival, new flowers bloomed
Weaving laughter and cheer all around
My days strolled like the wondrous Autumn
With motley hues of red, ochre and brown
And I swayed in joy like the kash flower
In perfect serenity under youth's bower
Could've outrun all blizzards and storm
As your embrace was enough to keep me warm
While drinking the manna from your lips
And accompanying your love's soulful trips
But for your departure, now my hopes die
The winter grips me, and I so haplessly cry.
